We have created our 'Telluride Top 10' listed below for a quick cheat-sheet in maximizing your time here in the Box Canyon!

1) Ride the free gondola up to San Sophia Station (top of gondola) and find your prime selfie spot!

2) Visit our Historical Museum for a deep dive into Telluride's rough and tumble mining days. Book a cemetery or main street walking tour with local legend Ashley Bolling!

3) Drink in the view from the rooftop of The Last Dollar Saloon for 360 degree views of the Box Canyon!

4) Walk the Farmer's Market on Friday on Oak Street (just up from the gondola)

5) Take the kids (or your kid at heart) to our local library and enjoy an epic playroom, indoor treehouse, story time and more!

6) Hike the new Bridal Veil Trail at the eastern end of the box canyon. Pass by / under three epic waterfalls!

7) Make a reservation at one of our favorite eateries in THE GRAND, THE NATIONAL or THE CHOP HOUSE.

8) Hike one of our local in-town loops, Bear Creek Trail or the Jud Wiebe (both being led on Saturday!)

9) Belly up for a drink back in time at the historic Sheridan Bar located on main street. The setting and history of the bar are uniquely old-time Telluride!

10) Walk the river trail from anywhere in town where you have two options for exploration. Head EAST and walk past interpretive signs that showcase Telluride's mining past and arrive at the end of the box canyon with stunning views of Bridal Veil and Ingram Falls. OR..head west and out on to the wild and wonderful valley floor. Travel along the San Miguel River, stumble upon our wild Elk herd and arrive at the Telluride Brewing Company for some beers and bites! You can take the free Galloping Goose back into town.
