Hello Friends &amp; Family! A quick update on our upcoming shindig here in Telluride! We have some fun events on Friday and Sunday that EVERYONE is invited to so please check out our <a href="https://www.katyandluke2025.com/us/katy-parnello-and-luke-brown-sep-2025/schedule-of-events" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">SCHEDULE OF EVENTS</a> page and jump in when you can! Also, note that we will be watching weather and adjusting if needed. Look for updates on time and venue changes should things get crazy. Airport Shuttles : We have our airport shuttle available for pick-ups&nbsp;and drop offs to/from the Montrose or Telluride airport.&nbsp;Please email&nbsp;<a href="mailto:Luke@wildoaktelluride.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Luke@wildoaktelluride.com</a>&nbsp;to schedule a ride. Click <a href="https://www.katyandluke2025.com/us/katy-parnello-and-luke-brown-sep-2025/schedule-of-events" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">HERE</a> to see the latest and greatest Friday Welcome Cocktails: We reserved The Sheridan Old Bar from 5-7pm&nbsp;to start&nbsp;the festivities.&nbsp;It's an OPEN BAR so come one, come all! Because the bar is all ours, children are welcome to join as well (free pool and foosball!). Friday Dinner Reservations: We encourage everyone to make dinner reservations after the cocktail event.&nbsp;It will be a busy weekend in town, so it will be good to have a place to belly up and enjoy some of our classic cuisine options! Some suggestions are below. The Grand - High End New AmericanThe National -- Mediterranean&nbsp;inspired cuisineSheridan Chop House -- Authentic Steak HouseSiam -- Authentic Thai CuisineWood Ear -- Unique Ramen Shop Saturday Hikes: We have two hikes planned for Saturday.&nbsp;See details and sign up on our website under the <a href="https://www.katyandluke2025.com/us/katy-parnello-and-luke-brown-sep-2025/schedule-of-events" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">SCHEDULE OF EVENTS </a>page Everyone is meeting at Oak Fat Alley at the bottom of the gondola before heading out.&nbsp;There is a beginner and intermediate hike planned so you can choose your own adventure. Saturday Ceremony: THE BIG EVENT AT THE LITTLE HOUSEThe wedding is located at 231 N Townsend.&nbsp;The darling house that we call home is known as The Little House. Wardrobe:Please bring a warm jacket and shoes you can wear while walking on grass to accompany your wedding outfit. Also please bring a rain jacket/umbrella. We are trying to collectively reverse Murphy's Law by being over prepared so the weather will work in our favor. IN THE EVENT OF SEVERE WEATHER LOOK FOR OUR VENUE PIVOT TO THE ELK'S LODGE! Shuttle Driver Available Saturday Night :We have our shuttle available Saturday night starting at 10:30pm to drive anyone out of town, down valley or to the Mountain Village (after 12pm) once the gondola closes. Please put your "estimated" departure time on Luke or Katy's radar at some point Saturday night and TIP YOUR DRIVER! Bears!There will be bears roaming the streets at night sorting through the trash. Always make noise as you walk outside at night and make sure to not leave food or drinks outside. Also please make sure to lock your trash cans outside your rental! Sunday Brunch : We are hosting a "hair of the dog" brunch at the Telluride Elks Lodge from 10am-1pm.&nbsp;We will have Bloodies and Mimosas and breakfast bites in spades! Football will be on as well. Come see us on your way out of town! We're sincerely looking forward to seeing you all soon and sharing our mountain hamlet with you! Let the celebrations begin! Our Wedding

It all started when they won a Telluride costume contest and quickly moved to travels abroad, experiments in cohabitation, business ventures and two wonderful children. After many beautiful years of non-traditional timelines, a pandemic pause and self defined trajectories, their story finally arrives at this ceremonial act of matrimony. Arriving at this moment, this weekend is a space to share their journey in the setting where it all began, took root, blossomed and continues to flourish. They invite you, one of the many stewards of their story, to celebrate their Big Event at the Little House and share in their uniquely whimsical version of Love.

YES, Telluride is a "one road IN, one road OUT" town. YES, Telluride is 6+ hours from anything closely resembling what modern society would consider a city with such amenities as an international airport, Starbucks or UBER. YES, Traveling to Telluride can be a unique endeavor, but rest assured future traveler, there are multiple ways to get to our out of the way outpost from wherever you may find yourself. FLIGHTS MONTROSE, CO -- The largest and most convenient airport (in regards to # of flights) is located in Montrose, Colorado. From here, you will enjoy a scenic and stunning 90 minute ride to the town of Telluride. There are multiple rental car options here if you want a whip to get to from point A to point B or you can take a shuttle (see SHUTTLES below). TELLURIDE, CO--The highest runway in the lower 48 and as convenient as a backyard bodega, this option, if available to you, will be one (of many) highlights of your trip to our valley! DENVER AIR CONNECT offers daily service TO/FROM the airport from both Denver and Phoenix. SHUTTLE OPTIONS (Telluride &amp; Montrose) WILD OAK (our company) has a small private shuttle service that we are making available to our guests. We can take up to 6 passengers. Please email: Luke@wildoaktelluride.com to see if it is available for your arrival to and departure from Montrose. Alternatively, Telluride Car Service and Mountain Limo both offer shared rides and private shuttle options. You can also take HWY 285 through a collection of small mountain towns, sweeping valleys and river canyons. ACCOMODATIONS Luke &amp; Katy have a small vacation rental company here in Telluride called, Wild Oak Telluride. We currently have numerous properties on hold for our friends and family. Our properties range from one bedrooms to larger multi-room homes so if you have a crew that you might consider rooming with, let us know that as well. 1) Ride the free gondola up to San Sophia Station (top of gondola) and find your prime selfie spot! 2) Visit our Historical Museum for a deep dive into Telluride's rough and tumble mining days. Book <a href="https://www.telluride.com/activity/walking-tours/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">a cemetery or main street walking tour </a>with local legend Ashley Bolling! 3) Drink in the view from the rooftop of The Last Dollar Saloon for 360 degree views of the Box Canyon! 4) Walk the Farmer's Market on Friday on Oak Street (just up from the gondola) 5) Take the kids (or your kid at heart) to our local library and enjoy an epic playroom, indoor treehouse, story time and more! 6) Hike the new <a href="https://www.trailforks.com/trails/bridal-veil-trail-755244/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Bridal Veil Trail </a>at the eastern end of the box canyon. The setting and history of the bar are uniquely old-time Telluride! 10) Walk the river trail from anywhere in town where you have two options for exploration. Head EAST and walk past interpretive signs that showcase Telluride's mining past and arrive at the end of the box canyon with stunning views of Bridal Veil and Ingram Falls. OR..head west and out on to the wild and wonderful valley floor. Travel along the San Miguel River, stumble upon our wild Elk herd and arrive at the <a href="https://www.telluridebrewingco.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Telluride Brewing Company</a> for some beers and bites! Optional Mountain Adventures

Join friends old and new for a little time in the WILD! These VERY optional excursions will showcase a little bit of our backyard and will be led by one of our trusted local friends! Excursions will plan to meet up at <a href="http://www.oakstelluride.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">OAK FAT ALLEY</a> afterwards for sustenance and stories before some ample down time pre-shindig.

The Bear Creek Preserve is a stunning off-shoot of the Telluride Valley that travels along the cascading Bear Creek and into a large basin rimmed by tall peaks. There is a lovely waterfall at the end of the 1.5 mile walk up a medium grade. The wedding ceremony and reception are taking place outside in the backyard of The Little House (Katy and Luke's house) and our lovely neighbor Lindsey's adjoining property. The weather in late September will be cool in the early evening (low 60's) and get colder as the sun goes down (low 40's). Please bring a warm jacket that you can put on as the weather gets cooler. We will have storage inside our house for jackets and extra layers that you can drop when you arrive and easily access when necessary. Dress code is Cocktail Party attire. Specifically, men in suits and women is anything that makes you feel fabulous. For footwear, you'll be walking on grass, so a wider heel or boots are a great option. At 10pm, those who are up for a continued celebration, will walk into town to The Last Dollar Saloon where we will continue the revelry with a DJ dance party. If you have dancing heels you'd like to showcase, this will be the time to do so.
